My Uncle was the greatest man that I ever knew. He was kind and generous. He loved with all of his heart and he never judged. He was upfront, honest and trust worthy. His heart and his door were always open. I am so deeply sorry and my heart is shattered for my Aunt Wendy Ann and my beautiful cousins and their babies. My uncle created a legacy for which we all can learn from. If we became even half as wonderful as my uncle was this world would be better for it. I love you all so much.
Rest Peacefully Uncle Doug. Your brave fight is over. You can rest now knowing you gave it your all and you smiled doing so.
