Obituary of Ronald Roy Lief

Ronald Roy Lief, age 86 of Goshen, NY passed away on Monday, July 29, 2019 at Orange Regional Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill, NY.  The son of the late Roy and Clara Johnson Lief, he was born on February 13, 1933 in Superior, Wisconson.  He was Vice President and Director of Production at G. P. Putnum Sons in Manhattan, NY. Ronald was an Air Force veteran.

Ronald is survived by the son in his heart, Matt Testoni. Ronald was Matt’s best friend and a wonderful father figure to him. He is also survived by many dear friends. He was an avid animal lover and reader. Ronald enjoyed Shakespearean sonnets and writing in his personal journals as often as possible. He also loved classic movies and film scores. Ronald will be dearly missed by all.

Cremation was in the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, NY.  Graveside services will be held at 1:30PM on Friday, August 16^th at the Orange County Veterans Cemetery, 111 Craigville Rd. Goshen, NY 10924.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ronald’s name to the Parkinson’s Foundation, 200 Southeast First Street, Miami, FL 33131.
