Dear Uncle John. YOU replaced what I had missing in my life whuch was a father. Took me to hunt, fish, baseball, soccer, and many other events. Even met legend Mickey Mantle at the old Maybrooke flea market. You were there at any moment to improve the quality of my life and I know that god is with you now improving your next chapter. I love you and miss you greatly.

Dear Gigi, Crystal and Johnnie, I am so sorry for such a great loss. While I did not know your husband and dad very well, I did have the opportunity to see him visit Gigi in the office. It was obvious what a loving and kind man he was by the way he treasured Gigi. We at the office continue to lift you up in prayer, and if their is any way we can help, let us know. your friends, at the Health Dept.

I had the honor to know John for many years as members and friends in the fife and drum community. We worked together on the Executive Committee, the governing body of The Company of Fifers and Drummers. There was not a more caring and passionate person than John when it came to the preservation of the art. I will miss him dearly and so will all that knew him. Rest in peace my friend.

My Uncle John,
He took me to my first major league baseball game. He was always willing to spend time with my brother and I when we were young and had nothing to do. As I approach 20 years in the Fire Service (13 years as a career) I can say for sure Uncle John played the biggest part in my interest in this calling. Thank you, We miss you, We love you.

Tough to believe this has happened. I do remember years ago talking about how we would want people to be when we passed. John and I agreed that we don’t want tears. Think of all the positive memories he provided to us and remember him for that now.
