Felix Correa Jr. passed away peacefully on March 3, 2015 at Orange Regional Medical Center. He was born on November 12, 1934 to Felix Sr. and Antonia Velazquez Correa . He was 80 years old.
A family statement reads:
Our dad would have said his children and grandchildren were what made his life the happiest. We, his children, know that we had been given the greater gift in having him as our dad. There are no words to express what we felt for him. A loving, kind and humble man, everyone in his presence felt his warmth. A part of hearts went with you dad. We will forever be with you. All of our love, always!!
He survived by his wife Dorothy Correa of Montgomery; sons, Steven Correa (Joyce) of New Windsor; Christopher Correa (Veronica) of Montgomery, David Correa (Mary) of Pine Bush; daughters, Christine Correa (Isaac) of Newburgh, Angela Every of Pottstown, PA., Jennifer Correa of Newburgh; honorary son, John Hannon; brother, Everett Correa of FL; grandchildren, Aisha, Robert “RJ”, Natalie, Nicole, Samantha, Jonathan, Liam, Reese; great grandchildren, Justin and Nana; many nieces and nephews.
Felix was predeceased by his brother Gilbert Correa.
Visitation will be held on Sunday March 8, 2015 from 2 -5 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home 39 Orchard St. Walden, NY 12586.
Graveside Services will be held on Monday March 9, 2015 at 10 AM at Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Rte 52 Walden,NY.
Contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice
