Durng the early 40's thru the50'S we lved on john st next to the buchanan family.
Doug buchanan was my classmate and long-time friend. I recall many fine times with him when we were counselors at the ymca's summer camp of camp orange.
Bob., who was many years older than i had this old car that had a rumble seat in the back. Often we kids would get in the back and go for a ride.
I remember when he worked at crowley's milk. He was a great worker and well liked by everyone.
As we grow and move to other places, often we loose touch with many that were important in our earlier days.
Presently i live in tacoma, washington,(The home of bing crosby) and i have lived extensively in japan and england.
In closing., at times i often ponder and think of those earlier years.
I am certain that robert is safe and in a better place.
I send the very best of love and condolences to all family members.
