Catherine Patricia Stelfox of Walden, NY passed away at home on Thursday, August 17, 2023. The daughter of the late James and Sarah Lacey Petrlak, she was born on March 18, 1936 in Manhattan, NY. She was 87 years old. She was receptionist at the Walden Savings Bank. Catherine was the widow of the late S.Sgt. Robert J. Stelfox, USMC.
Catherine is survived by her niece, Margaret Oehme of Monroe, NY; nieces and nephews. Along with her husband, Robert, she was predeceased by her sons, Michael J. and Patrick J. Stelfox and brothers, Gerard and James Petrlak .
A visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Wednesday, August 23rd at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. Cremation was in the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to the Walden Humane Society 2489 Albany Post Road, Walden, NY 12586
