Marie C. Mills, a homemaker, of Montgomery, NY passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023. The daughter of the late Clarence and Corinne Martineau Hollis, she was born on October 25, 1934 in Rutland, VT. She was 88 years old. She was a member of Holy Name of Mary R. C. Church, Montgomery. Marie was the widow of the late Harry J. Mills, Sr. Marie is survived by her sons: Michael T. Mills (Jennifer) of Sarasota, Fl, and Harry J. Mills, Jr. (Jennifer) of Montgomery; daughter, Marie E. Pruschki (Steven) of Walden; sister, Judith Carroll of Campbell Hall; grandchildren: Marisa, Joseph, Craig, Jennifer, Stefani, Lara, Tyler, Sarah, and Shae; 16 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters: Gertrude Amodio, Ruth Iacuniano, and Barbara Mangione. A visitation will be held from 4-7 pm on Tuesday, August 15th at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St. Walden, NY. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 16th at the Holy Name of Mary R.C. Church, Montgomery, NY. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Montgomery, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Ct., Newburgh, NY 12550.
