Kirk L. Willis Obituary
Kirk L. Willis of Walden, NY passed away at home on Tuesday, July 25, 2023. The son of LeRoy and Betty Benjamin Willis, he was born on May 24, 1958 in Newburgh, NY. He was a machinist for Spence Engineering, Walden, NY. He was a homebody who loved his grandkids and wildlife. Lovingly known to many as Papa Willis.
Kirk is survived by his son: Carl Willis and his fiancé, Nicole DeGroodt of Walden; daughter: Lynn Conklin and her husband, Michael of Walden; brothers: Kent Willis and is wife, Linda of Newburgh and Kevin Willis and his wife, Karen of Florida; grandchildren: Austyn, Anthony, and Jayce; Aunt Audrey; cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, July 30th from 3-5 pm at the Walden Baptist Church. Memorial services will begin at 3 pm. Cremation was in the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, NY. Contributions may be made to the Walden Humane Society, 248o Albany Post Road, Walden, NY. 12586
