Destin M. Rabess of Montgomery, NY passed away at Bon Secours Hospital on Wednesday, July 12, 2023. The son of Douglas Rabess and Andrea Ruffin, he was born on September 10, 2004 in Bronx, NY. He was 18 years old. He loved sports and music. Along with his parents, Destin is survived by his paternal grandparents, Joseph Rabess of Newburgh, Rosanna Piccolomo of Newburgh, and Gina Rabess of Bronx; maternal grandmother, Violet O’Toole of Brooklyn; brother, Anthony Rabess of Fishkill; sisters: Nyiah Waterman and Nevaeh Waterman both of Mt. Laurel, NJ; and aunts, uncles, and cousins. A visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Sunday, July 16th at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 17th at 10:00 AM at the Grace Community Church of Orange County, 128 Old South Plank Road, Newburgh, NY. Cremation will be in the Cedar Hill Crematory. Memorial contributions may be made to the Walden Humane Society, 2489 Albany Post Road, Walden, NY 12586.
