Mary M. Lease, a homemaker and caregiver, passed away at home on Friday, May 26, 2023. The daughter of the late Alfred A. and Anna Marie Dietz Lease, she was born on August 28, 1951 in Newburgh, NY. She was 71 years old. Mary lived over 12 years in the home of Agatha and Jules Salomon and their sons, Christopher and Stanley.
Mary is survived by her sisters: Anne M. Hunger, and her husband, Michael, of New Windsor, Denise A. Gilligan of Lake Como, NJ, and Nancy R. McDonald and her partner, Donald Elliott of Moira, NY; brother: Alfred A. Lease and his wife, Betty of Campbell Hall, Gary J. Lease and is wife, Darin of Wallkill and Mark P. Lease of Breinigsville, PA; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, June 7th at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Thursday, June 8th at Sacred Heart Church, Newburgh, NY. Burial of her cremains will be in Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice
