Obituary of Mary Martha McKnight

Mary McKnight October 20th, 1943-July 22nd , 2022 Mary Vernol was born and raised in Walden, NY before marrying Ron McKnight, July 2nd,1961. Always full of energy and artistic drive, she enjoyed various interests of sewing, gardening, crafting, and decorating while managing Country Convenience Deli as she raised her five children. Mary suffered a massive stroke in 1995 that was expected to end her life. However, she beat the odds and continued to for nearly three decades, even as she dealt with a host of complications. She never lost her love for her family, travel, Hallmark movies, chocolate, and most all, for Jesus. Mary passed away in Madisonville, Tennessee, surrounded by family. Dearly missed and survived by her 5 children, Carol A. Hansen, Mary McKnight Cummings, Christine McKnight, Fred Perna, Paul Mcknight, and their families. Surviving , Ella Vernol Dollaway, Martha Vernol Blackham, Betty Haworth, and Ruth Hudson. Those that departed before her Barbara DeBates, Charles Debates, August DeBates, and Patricia DeBates Langston Her grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews are too many to name But are, were and will always be cherished. A celebration of their life together will take place at the Historic Lindsay Pohlman Chapel at Goodwill Church in Montgomery NY on May 25th, 2023 at 11am.
