Vincent F. Zappone of Walden, NY passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Montefiore Hospital, Bronx, NY. The son of the late Anthony and Laura Morrico Zappone , he was born on June 12, 1942 in New York City, NY. He was 74 years old. He owned V & V Landscaping, Inc., Walden, NY. He was a member of the NYS Pistol Team and a distinguished marksman, and a member of the NY National Guard. Vincent was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.
Survivors are his wife Elizabeth LaGoy Zappone at home; son, Vincent Zappone, Jr. of Walden; daughters: Kimberly Gordon and her husband, Sean of Walden and Victoria Millhouse and her husband, James of Walden; brother, Anthony Zappone and his wife, Mary of Florida; grandchildren, Kaylee, Ryan, Matthew and Carson; nieces, nephews and special friends.
Services will be private.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cerebral Palsy Assoc. or the Walden Humane Society.
