Edgar W. Meyer of Walden, a retired union electrician passed away on March 30, 2023 at his home with his family. The son of the late Ernst Meyer and Anni Storm, he was born on April 3, 1937 in Kraksdorf, Germany. He was 85 years old. He proudly served in the United State Army. He was a member of the VFW and an active member of the Habitat for Humanity. He will be missed by his family and friends.
Edgar is survived by his daughter, Claudia Meyer (Randy Rozman) of Kentucky; brother, Ernst Meyer Jr. of Germany; sister, Ingrid Neumann of Germany; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, brother Karl Meyer and sister, Lilo Maskos.
Cremation will be in the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh.
