Michele R. Amodio., a health aide at Campbell Hall Nursing Home, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Garnet Health Medical Center, Town of Wallkill, NY. The daughter of the late Leo and Gladys Merring O’Banks, she was born on November 23, 1950 in Goshen, NY. She was 72 years old. She loved her cats and all animals. She had horses when she was younger.

Michele is survived by her husband, Thomas M. Amodio, Sr.at home; son, Thomas M. Amodio, Jr. and his wife, Jacki Jardine of Montgomery; daughter, Bernadette Amodio and her significate other, Kenneth MacCalla of Maybrook; brother, Craig O’Banks and his wife, Raelene of White Lake; grandchildren, Shayne, Ryan and Jayson; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Leo “Butch” O’Banks.

Cremation will be in the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh. A visitation will be held from 2-5 pm on Saturday, March 11th at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. The funeral service will be held at 5 pm at the funeral home following the visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to the Walden Humane Society, 2489 Albany Post Road, Walden, NY. 12586.
