Norman M. Sivertsen, Jr. of Montgomery, NY passed away on
Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Montgomery Nursing Home, Montgomery, NY. The son of Norman M. and Gladys Force Sivertsen, Sr., He was born on August 27, 1933 in Montgomery, NY. He was 89 years old. He was employed as an insurance agent for Prudential Insurance, Middletown, NY. He was a 20 year US Navy Veteran and a life member of the Fleet Reserve Assoc. He was also a life member of the American Legion Post #158, Walden and the Association of Mineman.
Survivors are his daughter, Maryann Shupe (Eric) of Montgomery; brothers: Robert Sivertsen (Alma) of Tavares, FL and Walter Sivertsen (Sharon) of Grayslake, IL.; sister, Nancy Wright of Coldenham; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Mary Regan Sivertsen.
Visitation and funeral services will be private. Cremation was in the Cedar Hill Crematory. Burial of ashes will be in the O. C. Veterans Cemetery, Goshen.
