Christie L. Copertino, a homemaker of Walden, NY, passed away at home on Sunday, February 12, 2017. The daughter of Vernon and Brenda McMillan Peterson, she was born on May 18, 1976 at home. She was 40 years old.
Along with her parents, Vernon and Brenda Peterson of New Windsor, Christie is survived by her husband, Brian at home; daughters: Kayla and Kara Copertino both at home; step-sons: Matthew Copertino of Hopewell Junction and Jordan Copertino of Florida; step-daughter, Destiny Copertino of Ellenville; sister, Tina Newell of Seattle, WA; grandson, Daniel; aunts , uncles and cousins.
A visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Friday, February 17th at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden. Services will be held at the funeral home at 8 pm following the visitation. Cremation was in the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh.
