Obituary of Mary L. Cornish

Mary L. Cornish of Campbell Hall, N Y passed away on Friday, February, 3, 2023 at Middletown Park Manor. The daughter of the late William Walter and Lillian Evelyn Griffin Heller, she was born on February 25, 1930 in Maybrook, NY. Mary was a seamstress for Brookmay Coat Manufacturing, Maybrook, NY. She was a member of the Maybrook Golden Links and loved bingo. The family would like to thank everyone at Park Manor, especially Unit 4, who went above and beyond. Mary is survived by her son, Russell W. Cornish (Laurie) of Waynesboro, VA; daughter, Mary R. Di Donato of Rock Tavern; brothers: Karl Heller of Maybrook, Kenneth Heller (Pat) of Jamestown, Alvin Heller (Elsie) of Summitville; sisters: Doris Brady of NM, Hazel Rose of Maybrook, and Linda Wright (James) of Maybrook; grandchildren: Carla (Jim), John(Casey), Gina (Blaise), Kelli(Wes); great grandchildren: Callie, Cameron, Kristopher, Annaliese, and Lily; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Howard, sisters, Irene and Edith and brothers, William, George, and Walter, and son-in-law, Carl DiDonato. A visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Monday, February 6th at the Gridley=-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. Funeral services will be held at 10 Am on Tuesday, February 7th at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Washingtonville Cemetery, Washingtonville, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
