Robert E. Vandermark Wallkill, NY Robert E. Vandermark, of Wallkill, NY passed away on January 22, 2023 at home with his family by his side. The son of the late William and Ruth Yeaple Vandermark, he was born on September 24, 1942 in Walden, NY. He was 80 years old. He was the owner/operator of Vandermark’s Roofing. Robert served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of the Wallkill Rod and Gun Club as well as the Walden VFW. He loved hunting, fishing, spending time with his family and telling a good joke. Special Thank You to Maurice Alisse for his care and compassion. Robert is survived by his wife Donna at home; sons, Kevin Vandermark and fiancé Lora of Walden, Wayne “Corky” and wife Tricia of Wallkill; daughter, Tammie Sperry and husband Tracy of N.C.; brother, William Vandermark of Lacona, N.Y.; grandchildren, Tristen, Kevin, Daniel, Brian, Dylan, Alexis, Hunter and Tessa; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Kimberly and his sister Doris Venetis. A visitation will be held from 1- 4pm on Saturday, January 28th at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors or Hudson Valley Hospice 400 Aaron Court Kingston , NY 12401. Cremation Cedar Hill Crematory.
