Carol Ann McNeely of Walden, NY passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022 at Garnet Health Medical Center, Town of Wallkill, NY. The daughter of Robert L. and Vilma Yerks Avilio, she was born on February 17, 1944 in Newburgh, NY. She was 78 years old. Carol was a member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, a Vestry member, member of the choir, and President of the Altar Guild. She was employed in the admitting/registration office of St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh, NY.
Carol is survived by her husband, Bruce Leonard McNeely, Sr.; her sons: Bruce McNeely, Jr.and his partner Julie Vousden of Montgomery and Robert A. (Susan) of Walden; grandchildren: Taylor, Kyle, Colin, Kristen and Kelsey; great grandchild, Averie; and sister, Maureen Rogerson of Lakeland, FL. She was predeceased by her sister, Vera Jefferson and grandson, Connor.
A memorial service will be held 11 am on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 15 Walnut St., Walden, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church.
