Helen M. Sparks a homemaker of Maybrook, NY passed away on Monday,December 19, 2022 at Hudson Valley Rehab & Extended Care, Highland, NY. The daughter of William “Bill” and Alice R Bodle Greening, she was born on February

25, 1929 in Goshen, NY. She was 93 years old. She was a part time employee for the Village of Maybrook for 16 years.

Helen is survived by her son, Frederick T. Sparks, Jr. of Walden; daughter, Darlene M. Sparks of Walden; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Alice “June” Tinman and Patricia Ann Foley. A visitation will be held from 2-6 pm on Thursday, December 22nd at the Gridley- Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, December 23rd at the funeral home. Entombment will be in the Cedar Hill Mausoleum, Newburgh. Memorial contributions may be made to the Maybrook Fire Dept.
