Claudia DeFrancesco of Newburgh, NY, passed away at home on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. The daughter of Clyde and May Duncan Owens, she was born on March 15, 1947 in Pittsburgh, PA. Claudia was a telephone operator for Orange Ulster BOSCES, Goshen, NY. She was also a longtime member of the Goodwill Church.
Claudia is survived by her daughters: Ruthanne Kingston (Michael) of Newburgh, and Sara Conklin of Hopewell Junction; brother, John Owens of PA , grandchidren: Lindsay, Mathew, Nathaniel, Ashley, Adam, Jenna and Marcus; great grandchildren: Elizabeth, Skylar and Masson. She was predeceased by her daughter, Lee Ann Elgin.
A memorial services will be held at 12 noon on December 2nd at the historic Goodwill Church, 2117 Route 208, Montgomery, NY. Burial of ashes will be in the Goodwill Cemetery, Montgomery, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to IBC (Inflammatory Breast Cancer) Network Foundation, c/o Terry Lynn Arnold on Facebook.
