John J. “Jack” Miller of Wallkill, NY passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Vassar Bros. Hospital, Poughkeepsie, NY. The son Ronald Parliman and Shirley H. Miller, he was born on September 10, 1959 in Newburgh, NY. He was 63 years old. He was a chef for the Dept. of Corrections at the Shawangunk Correctional Facility, Wallkill, NY. He was a member of CSEA Union and the Boy Scouts of America.

Jack is survived by his son, Cody D. Miller and his fiancée, Victoria Carlone of Orangeburg; daughter, Ashley E. Miller and her partner, Michael Giordano of Marlboro; brothers: Timothy Miller (Patricia) of Chester, Kenneth Miller (Lisa) of Bloomingburg, and Anthony Parliman (Jenn) of Boulder, CO; sister, Donna Porter (Bill) of Lindstrom, MN; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his aunt, Patricia Lattimer.

A visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Saturday, November 19th at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
