Richard D. Caudy of Campbell Hall, NY passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022
at Garnet Health Medical Center, Town of Wallkill, NY. The son of John and Ruby Williams Caudy, he was on born on May 19, 1947 in Newburgh, NY. He was 75 years old. Richard was a machinist for Osram Co., Maybrook, NY and a member of the Maybrook VFW Auxiliary. Hunting and fishing were his life, as well as his love for his grandchildren.
Richard is survived by his wife, Donna Cornish Caudy, at home; his daughters Stacey Kernahan of Campbell Hall, Dawn Smith (Al) of Maybrook, and Christianne “Cricket” Popper (Rob) of Maybrook; son Jason Riggins of Walden; brothers Howie Caudy (Darlena) of Oklahoma and John Caudy of Bullville; grandchildren Joey, Richie, Fallyn, Luke, and Savannah; great-grandchildren Aiden, Kaelyn, and Hudson; nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 1-3 pm on Sunday, November 20th at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 3 PM at the funeral home. Cremation will be in the Cedar Hill Crematory.
