Margaret Ann Venable of Walden, NY passed away at home on Monday, October 31, 2022. The daughter of Vincent and Marie Torino, she was born on June 23, 1955 in Queens, NY. She was 67 years old. Peggy was a retired math teacher at NFA, Newburgh, NY. She loved playing the ukulele. Survivors are her husband, Thomas G. Venable at home; her mother, Marie Torino of NJ; daughters: Kathleen M. Venable of Germantown, NY, and Colleen AF Venable of North Adams, MA; nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Wednesday, November 2nd at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 am on Thursday, November 3rd at Our Lady of the Lake R.C. Church. Cremation will be in the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh. Memorial contributions may be made to Mount St. Mary’s College, 330 Powell Avenue, Newburgh, NY. 12550.
