David James Sherwin, of Walden, NY passed away peacefully with his family at his side on September 10, 2022. He was 63 years old. He was born on June 25, 1959 in Troy, NY. to the late James Sherwin and Rita Charette. He was married to Paula Hughes Sherwin. He was a owner/operator of Mountain View Appraisal Services. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Paula at home; sons, Aaron Sherwin (Samantha) of Walden, Christopher D. Sherwin of Middletown; brothers, Daniel “Danny” Sherwin of Latham and Timothy Sherwin (Donna) of Ravena; sisters, Christine “Chrissy” Toma of Latham, Mary Ann Gantt (Derek) of Latham; grandson, James Sherwin of Walden; several nieces and nephews. David was predeceased by his brother James Sherwin and his parents. Cremation Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, NY Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan 800 Stony Brook Ct., Newburgh, NY 12550 A Memorial will be held in David’s Name on Saturday September 25, 2022 from 12-2:30 at the Grildey-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St. Walden, NY 12586.
