Lola M. Nedwetzky of Walden, NY, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Garnet Medical Health Center, Town of Wallkill, NY. The daughter of the late Charles D. and Hattie VanWagenen Sutherland, she was born on June 23, 1942 in Newburgh, NY. She was 80 years old. Lola was employed by Safeway Storage in Walden, NY. She was the widow of George Nedwetzky.
Survivors are her son: James DeNault of Monticello; and her sister, Reta Bakas and her husband, Gus of Walden. She was predeceased by her brother, Edwin Sutherland and her nephew, Freddy Ronk.
Per her wishes, funeral services will be private. Cremation was in the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh. Memorial contribution may be made to Sullivan County ARC.
