Anthony Rocco Legnini of Walden, NY passed away at home on Tuesday, March 2, 2017. The son of the late Philip and Anna Marie DelNegro Legnini, he was born on January 13, 1932 in Bronx, NY. He was 85 years old. Anthony was a maintenance man at Daytop Village, Swan Lake, NY. He also liked to play poker and go to casinos. He was an Army Veteran of Korea and Viet Nam. Anthony was a devoted, loving husband, father, and grandfather, also leaving many, many friends to cherish his memory. Survivors are his wife, Mary Ann Stapinsky Legnini at home; son, Philip Legnini of Walden; daughter, Ann Marie Ruger of Walden; grandchildren, Anthony, Shannon, Melisa, Jennifer and Kayla; great grandchildren, Dylan, Ronald, Gemma, Ayden, Jackson and Preston; brother, Richard Legnini of Bronx,NY; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters, Lucy and Norma and brother Edward. A visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Monday , March 6th at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Tuesday, March 7th at the Church of the Most Precious Blood, Walden. Burial will be in the Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Walden, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony B rook Ct., Newburgh, NY 12550 or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Anthony
