Margaret E. Duke of Brewster, NY passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at the Kaplan Family Hospice, Newburgh, NY. The daughter of Patricia Lois Winthal Nameny, and the late John Joseph Duke, she was born on June 4, 1960 in Manhattan, NY. She was 62 years old. She was a Banking Administrator for various banks in White Plains, NY. Margaret received the Dana Reeves Caregiver Award and a volunteer Trainer for the Hudson Valley Cowboys Football Team Along with her mother, Margaret is survived by her son, Ryan MacCluskey and his wife, Dominique of Pleasant Valley’ daughter, Destiny Charles of Monticello, brothers: David Nameny of Walden, William Duke and his wife, Lori of Fla, Brian Duke of Brooklyn, Steven Duke and his wife, Kim of PA; sisters: Patricia Duke, Stephanie Duke, and Jackie Duke all of Walden; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, John Joseph Duke, her son, Dylan MacCluskey, and her brothers, John Joseph and Thomas Earl Duke. A visitation will be held from 6-8PM on Thursday, June 16th at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. Funeral services will follow visitation at 8 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to any recreational youth league.
