Obituary of LaVonne D. Hirsch

LaVonne D. Hirsch, of Walden, NY passed away peacefully at her home on April 28, 2022. She was 101 years old. She was born to P. Harry Peters and Dorothea Riedeman at in Calumet, Iowa. She was married to Curt W. Hirsch for 70 years. She was a dedicated homemaker for her family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by; children, Curt Hirsch and wife Mary of Storrs, CT, Alan Hirsch of Storrs, CT, Nanette Pearce and husband Ed of Walden, NY, Marie Goodwin and husband Tom of Supply, NC. 8 grandchildren Eric and wife Sue, Shannon, Michael and wife April, Eddie and wife Julie, Sharon and husband Kevin, Alison and husband Craig, Jennette and husband Paul, and Kelly and husband Doug. She had 18 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Curt and son Peter. Cremation Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, NY Interment of her ashes will be held at a later date with her husband in the Orange County Veterans Cemetery, Goshen, NY. Memorial Donations may be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan County.
