Frederick Louis Baumann of Montgomery, NY passed away at home on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. The son of August and Ethel Baumann, he was born on November 7, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY. He was 92 years old. He was employed as a truck driver for the City of New York. He was the widower of Patricia A. Baumann.
He was a member of Holy Name of Mary Church in Montgomery, New Horizons Senior Club and frequented the Maybrook and Walden Senior Citizens.
Fred is survived by his son, Frederick L. Baumann II of Montgomery; daughter, Mildred A. Ferguson and her husband, James of Montgomery; sister, Lillian Wilson; grandchild, Patricia Hopkins, and Great Grandchildren: Wyatt, Abby and Lewis; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by several brothers and sisters and grandson-in-law, Mark Hopkins.
A visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Friday, March 25th at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 AM on Saturday, March 26th at Holy Name of Mary Church, Montgomery, NY. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Montgomery, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Church
