Thomas M. Michella of Walden, NY passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Garnet Health Medical Center, Middletown, NY. The son of Patrick A. and Magdalene Cain Michella, he was born on November 23, 1946 in Suffern, NY. He was 75 years old. He was employed as a carpenter with Local 964, Stony Point, NY. He honorably served in the Air Force during the Viet Nam Era. Thomas was an avid bowler, fisherman and hunter.
Survivors are his wife, Diane DeLuca Michella at home; son, Michael Michella of Syracuse, NY; and daughter, Jennifer Michella of Liverpool, NY; and cousins.
A visitation will be held from 4-6 pm on Saturday, February 5th at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. A prayer service will be held at 5:30 pm on Saturday. Cremation was in the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh. Memorial contributions may be made to the Walden Humane Society, 2489 Albany Post Road, Walden, NY. 12586.
