David A. Green of Walden, NY passed away at home on Sunday, January 9, 2022. The son of Ralph and Delores “Mae” Baker Green, he was born on November 13, 1960 in Goshen, NY. He was 61 years old. He was a mechanic for the Dept. of Public Works, Village of Walden, NY and owner of D & D Food, Newburgh, NY. Dave was a member of the Enterprise Seamer Co. of the Walden Fire Dept., a Fire Commissioner of the Walden Fire District, and President of the Walden Little League. He was an avid hunter and a fan of stock car racing. David is survived by his wife, Darlene Ferguson Green at home; son, Stephen Green of Walden; daughter, Jennifer Gurnari and her husband, Bernard of Scott Township, PA; brother, Ralph “Bud” Green of Maine; sister, Judy Tubbs and her husband, Joe of Walden; his father -in-law, William Ferguson; several nieces and nephews A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 13th from 6-8 pm at the social hall of the Walden Firehouse. Cremation will be in the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh. Memorial contributions may be made to the Walden Humane Society, 2489 Albany Post Road, Walden, NY 12586 or to the family to be used at their discretion.
