Lisa Elizabeth Marie Kottl aka Lisa Gilbert of Bloomingburg, NY passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021. The daughter of the late Bruce Raymond Gilbert and Deborah Lawrence Gilbert Mann, she was born on October 18, 1990 in Middletown, NY. She was a nursing assistant at Achieve Rehab and Nursing Facility, Liberty, NY. She was a former Girl Scout and blood donor. Her goal was to become Registered Nurse. Lisa is survived by her mother, Deborah Mann and her husband, George a home; companion, Michael and his family of Port Jervis; ex-husband, Edward D. Kottl; children: Kevin, Joshua, Christopher, Caroline, Sean, Julia and Sophia; brother, Steven Gilbert at home; and sister, Leann Gilbert of Monticello; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Bruce Raymond Gilbert. Memorial visitation will be held from 4-7 pm on January 22nd at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard Street, Walden, NY. Funeral services will be held at 7 pm at the funeral home following the visitation. Cremation was in the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to be used at their discretion.
