Shirley Scarbury, a homemaker, of Middletown, NY passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Middletown Park Manor, Middletown, NY. The daughter of the late Louie and Rachel Fixman Rosen, she was born on February 17, 1933 in Montreal, Canada. She was 84 years old. She was the widow of the late Ernest R. Scarbury.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Fern G. Strom and her husband, Richard of Middletown; brother Kelvin Rosen of Florida; sister, Frances Libenstein of Montreal; grandchildren: Jennifer, Stephanie, Melanie, Megan and David; great grandchildren: Eryn, Corinne, Kacie, Camryn and Kaihla; nieces and nephews. Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her son, David Bigman and great granddaughter.
Memorial services will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday, March 16th at the Walden Baptist Church, Bank Street, Walden, NY. Cremation was in the Cedar Hill Crematory; Newburgh.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Walden Baptist Church.
