Robert W. Trent of Newburgh, NY passed away at home on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. The son of Gene and Mary Louise Parra Trent, he was born on October 20, 1946 in Mendoza, Argentina. He was 75 years old. He was the former owner of Empire Packaging Inc, Newburgh, NY, and most recently, Square Deal Packaging of Newburgh.
Robert is survived by his wife, Karren Trent of Florida, son Sean Powell of Palenville, NY, daughter, Harpur Frahm and her husband, Jason of Germantown, NY, brother Ronald Trent and his wife, Liz of Montgomery, grandchildren, Arden and Jared, nieces, nephews and many cousins here and in Argentina, Spain and Italy.
A memorial visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on December 9th at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home following the visitation. Cremation was in the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh. Burial of ashes will be in the Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Walden at 11am on December 10th.
