Tammy Lee Montalvo, of Montgomery NY passed away at Garnet Health Medical on November 12, 2021. She was 53 years old. She was born to James DeGrote and Sharon Hulsey on May 26, 1968 at St. Lukeś Hospital, Newburgh, NY. She was lovingly raised by her Mother, Sharon and her Father, Gary Tschumi. Tammy was a Licensed Cosmetologist for many years but her greatest joy was being a dedicated Homemaker. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends. Tammy is survived by her loving husband Peter at home; daughters, Tasha M. Juracek (Ryan) of Walden and Taylor M. Montalvo of Montgomery; sisters, Tanisha Moorehead (Jason), Marion DeLuzio, Sherry Tschumi, Traci (Matt) and Tara Hill (Bronson) ; brothers, Shon Gordon (Susan), Gary Tschumi, Chris DeGrote (Amanda), David DeGrote, James DeGrote (Audrey) and Vincent DeGrote; Granddaughters, Jaelynn and Miranda Juracek; and multiple nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by both of her parents. Memorial contributions may be in Tammy’s memory to the your local Veterans Organization of your choice or Honor Flight.
