Betty E. Coddington of Walden, NY passed away at home on Wednesday, November 10, 2021. The daughter of the late Ernest and Hazel Decker Sheeley, she was born on June 17, 1925 in Walden, NY. She was 96 years old. Betty was a waitress at Sonny’s Diner, Walden.
Betty is survived by her sons: Edwin Bunn of Middletown, James Coddington of Utica, and Daryl Coddington of Walden; daughter, Betty E. Gross and her husband, Leo, of Montgomery; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Hazel Garrison and sister Eunice Bunn.
Funeral services were private. Cremation was in the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital;501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
