Mary Elizabeth Keenan of Coldenham (Town of Montgomery), passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Calvary Cancer Care Hospital, Bronx, NY with her loving husband, Joseph, at her side. The daughter of the late Theodore Marino and Mary Grecco Marino, she was born on April 20, 1961 in Newburgh, NY. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Joseph D. Keenan; son, Joseph Keenan II; daughter, Catherine Keenan, and grandson, Logan Keenan, all of Town of Montgomery; sisters: Angela Rose (Norman) of Coldenham, Maria Theresa Rundle (Denis) of Highland and Ann Marino of Coldenham; brother, Joseph Marino of Coldenham, along with several aunts, uncles and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, Mary was predeceased by her brother, Theodore Marino and his twin sister, Theodora Marino. Mary was a graduate of Valley Central High School, Class of 1979 and the Krissler Business Institute. Mary spent most of her working years as the head teller and customer service representative for the West Point Federal Credit Union, and then the Pentagon Federal Credit Union at the Stewart Airport, Highland Falls, and West Point, NY branches. Mary was also a member of the Most Precious Blood Parish in Walden, NY. Mary was a kind and lovely soul who had a wonderful smile that she shared with family, customers, and everyone she would meet. It was hard to not fall in love with Mary. She enjoyed camping and made countless memories with family and friends in Hammonasett, CT and Wildwood, NJ. Sitting around the campfire while the family sang “The Crocodile Song”, relaxing on the beach at 7th Avenue in North Wildwood and going to Fife and Drum Musters were a few of her favorite summer activities. Mary was as stubborn as she was strong. She loved Thanksgiving and family get-togethers. Mary’s love for her family reached to the moon and back and she will be missed by all that knew her.
