Hello there. My name is Sondra, Nurse Practitioner from Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital. Robert was my favorite patient. Under the steady stream of sarcasm was a loving man who told me about his cooking escapades, the daily update of the woodchuck population on his dad’s property and how much he looked forward to family visits while he was hospitalized. He adored his family and would rather discuss them through shared photos and stories, than talk about his failing heart. I will never forget him….
