Gerald Louis Smith of Honesdale, PA formerly of Walden, NY passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at home in Honesdale, PA. The son of the late George Mitchell and Emma VanAmburgh Smith, he was born on August 28, 1963 in West Point, NY. He was 57 years old. He was a self-employed mechanic.
Gerald is survived by his sons: Robert Smith, Jerimiah Johnson, Adrian Johnson, Cory Johnson and D.J. Johnson; daughters: Angela Smith, Gwendolyn Johnson, Jasmine Johnson, Savannah Johnson and Kya Johnson; brother, Ernest Tuthill; sisters: Debra Smith, Dorothy Pickard, Ardynne Higgs, and Della Rodriguiz; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by Sharon
Smith Mullins.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 27th from 1-2 pm and 3-4pm at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. Cremation will be in the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh. Burial of cremains will be in the Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Walden.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s Choice.
