Claudia Mary Amadio Toll of Fishkill, NY passed away at her daughters home on May 3, 2021. She was 79 years old. Claudia was born on June 3, 1941 in Brooklyn, NY. She was born to the late Eugene Amadio and Elma Westervelt Jones. Claudia retired from the Parole Department of the Downstate Correctional Facility in Fishkill, NY. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Claudia is survived by her daughters; Melanie Metzger of Wappingers Falls, Melissa Gruini (John) of Montgomery, NY, Michele DeWilde (David Jr.) of Pine Bush; brothers, Donald Amadio (Anna) of Long Island, Dennis Amadio of Melbourne, Florida; grandchildren, Matthew Gruini and Ethan Rastadt; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Judith Slaight and Jeanne Carlson; brother, Eugene Amadio.
Visitation will be held on Friday May 7, 2021 from 5-7PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home 39 Orchard Street Walden, NY 12586. Services will be held at 7PM following the visitation. Due to restrictions facemasks must be worn and a wait time may occur. Graveside Services will be held at Bunker Hill Cemetery in Wilmot, New Hampshire.
