Lorinda Lowe, age 70 of Montgomery, NY passed away on April 25, 2021 at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence in Newburgh, NY. The daughter of the late Claude and Marion Haight Cruver, she was born on March 17, 1951 in Walden, NY. Lorinda worked as a loan officer for PENFED in West Point. She will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her son, Mark Lowe; sisters, Marion DeGroodt and Betty Petty; nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 6-8PM on Thursday, April 29th at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St. Walden, NY 12586. Services will be held at 11AM on Friday, April 30th, also at the funeral home. Burial will be in Wallkill Valley Cemetery. Due to ongoing health and occupancy restrictions, facemasks are required and a wait-time may apply to enter the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made in Lorinda’s memory to the Walden Humane Society, 2489 Albany Post Rd, Walden, NY 12586.
