George E. Plant, age 86 of Wallkill, NY passed away peacefully at home on April 9, 2021. The son of the late George E. and Rachel Friedel Plant Sr., he was born on May 4, 1934 in Newburgh, NY. George worked as a burnisher for Fair-Rite Products in Wallkill. He will be dearly missed.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Plant at home; sons, George E. Plant of Middletown, Mark Rogers and his wife, Nancy of Ellenville, Christopher Reynolds and his wife, Amy of Parksville; his best friend and dog, Suzie; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; nieces & nephews. George was predeceased by his daughter, Lillian Plant; brother, Raymond Plant; sisters, Jessie Hadden and Lucy Plant.
A memorial visitation will be held from 2-4PM on Saturday, April 24th at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St. Walden, NY 12586. Due to ongoing health and occupancy restrictions, facemasks are required and a wait-time may apply to enter the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to be used at their discretion.
