Glenda Mae Emmons, born Glenda Mae Hilliard of Stephens City, Virginia on July 12, 1936; passed away peacefully at home Wednesday morning.
Glenda became a longtime resident of Walden, NY in 1969. She was and always will be an exceptional Wife, Mother, Grandmother and true friend. Glenda entered into Heaven, and now is in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
She is now reunited with many loved ones who passed before her, especially one very close to her heart, her Son, Gary Thomas Emmons, whom passed away in 2007.
Glenda is survived by her husband, Guy Thomas Emmons, Daughter, Penny, Son-in-law, Daniel, four adult Grandchildren: Mason, Karri, Sarah, and Ashley.
To Glenda everyone was a friend, and she will be missed by all who knew her. Glenda will forever be an inspiration; a wonderful example of kindness, hope and strength.
