I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Schneider’s passing. Him and his family were always so nice and helpful to my parents and family. As one of his neighbors on Coldenham Road, it was always nice to have him and his family as neighbors. The world needs more people like him. I am so sad and sorry to hear of Walt's passing. He was a dedicated member of UCT who cared greatly about the organization, its members, and the good that could be done through it throughout the U.S. and Canada. On a personal level, he was warm, caring and always quick with a joke or words of wisdom. My condolences to Colleen and the family. He will be missed.

My deepest condolences to your family. When my dad was alive, he always spoke highly of Walt, and his commitment to the Fire Department. When my dad passed, he routinely checked on my mom in Colden Park, and kept the Fire Department in her life, for that I am eternally grateful. Warm Regards, John Presutti

A great man, A great inspiration. He will always be remembered. Walt left a mark on everyone he met. I was blessed to be one of them. I have know him my entire life and have have learned much from his example and many, many lessons. I would not be the person I am today had it not been for the great role models I have had. POP was one of them. He will be dearly missed.

Walt was a man who gave to his community. Whether coming to school or volunteering for the Fire House, he shared his knowledge with everyone. He will be greatly missed. Our friend Walt. I miss you ever since we moved to NYC. All my memories of the Friday coffee morning memories at Felicia's include Walt who's insight often made me laugh or at least think. A down-to-earth friend. Really sorry for your loss Colleen. I remember how you both used to come to our Fox Hill open houses and dinners. Walt - now you are with God.
