Barbara S. Miller, age 77 of Maybrook, NY passed away on Friday, October 16, 202 at Garnet Health Medical Center, Middletown, NY. The daughter of the Herman and Minnie Sorkowitz Skolnik, she was born on November 29, 1942, in the Bronx, NY. Barbara was a cashier for Price Chopper, Newburgh.
Barbara is survived by her sons, Jon Groden and Brian Groden both of Maybrook; daughter, Leslie Vivinzio and her husband, Andrea of Peekskill; grandchildren, Maria, Vinnie, Julianna and Heather; great-grandson, Connor. She was predeceased by her brother, Howard Skolnik.
A visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th from 6-8 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. Due to current health and occupancy restriction, a wait-time may apply and the wearing of facemasks is required. Burial will be in the Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Walden, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made in Barbara’s memory to the National Kidney Foundation.
