Barbara C. LeRoy of Walden, NY passed away at home on Sunday, September 20, 2020. The daughter of the late Walter and Imogene Martin, she was born
on October 23,1937 in New York City, NY. She was 82 years old. Barbara was a systems analyst for Sharp Electronics, Mahwah, NJ.
Barbara is survived by her son, Steven A. Gione and his wife, Kathy, of Osceola, PA and daughter, Terri Hornberger and her companion, Patrick Hart, of Walden; grandchildren: Andrew, Danielle, Carrie, and Katelen; great grandchildren: Alissa, Siena, Lilly, Jonathan, Brandon, Tyler, Rebecca and Carson; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased her sister, Patricia Durfee and her longtime companion, John Bergen.
A memorial visitation will be held from 12-2 PM on Sunday, September 27th at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard Street, Walden, NY. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM at the funeral home. Cremation will be at Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh. Due to occupancy restrictions, a wait may be possible and wearing of face masks is required.
