Domenico Conigliaro, age 96 of Montgomery, NY passed away at home on September 13, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. The son of the late Simone and Francesca Mannino Conigliaro, he was born on February 20, 1924 in Borgetto, Italy. Domenico owned and operated the Colosseum Barber Shop in Queens. He will be dearly missed.
Survivors include his loving wife, Angela at home; daughters, Fran Kassiotis and her husband, Peter of Montgomery, AnnaMaria O’Brien and her husband, Michael of Walden; son, Simone Conigliaro and his wife, Victoria of Queens; grandchildren, Lauren, Matthew, Katherine, Stephen, Diana, Nicole, Simone; great-grandchildren, Harper Rae and Victoria; nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Tuesday, September 15th at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St. Walden, NY 12586. Due to current health and occupancy restrictions, a wait-time may apply and the wearing of facemasks is required. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 AM on Wednesday, September 16th at Holy Name of Mary-Assumption Church, 89 Union St. Montgomery, NY 12549. Burial will follow in Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Walden, NY.
