Obituary of James E. Hoffman

James Elsworth Hoffman of Montgomery, NY passed away on December 7, 2018 at Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx. The son of the late Kenneth and Elsie McCarthy Hoffman, he was born on August 11, 1942 in Buffalo, NY. He was 76 years old.
James served in the Air Force and was a Lab Engineer for IBM in East Fishkill, NY. He was a member of the Amvets, the Wawarsing Rod & Gun Club and was a lifetime member of the NRA.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ann Hoffman at home; son, Nicholas Hoffman and his wife, Rosa, of Walker Valley, NY; daughter, Heidi Aldrich and her husband, Greg, of Rancho Cucamonga, CA; grandchildren, Keegan Aldrich and T.W. Hoffman.
A memorial celebration will be held by the family at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in James’s name to the Walden Humane Society, 2489 Albany Post Rd, Walden, NY 12586.
