Manuel A. Martinez, age 83 of Wallkill, NY passed away on June 28, 2020 at New Paltz Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing. The son of the late Candido and Jane Ortiz Martinez, he was born on March 26, 1937 in Puerto Rico. Manuel was a machine operator for Champrene in Beacon, NY for 25 years. He was an avid bowler at Pat Tarsio Lanes in Newburgh. He will be dearly missed.
Survivors include his loving wife, Barbara A. Martinez, at home; sons, Ronald Martinez and his wife, Lori, of Denning, NY, Manuel Martinez Jr. of Kingston, NY, Steven Martinez and his wife, Vicki, of Wallkill, NY; daughter, Lorraine Morales and her husband, Annibal, of Spring Hill, FL; brother, Johnny Martinez of Newburgh, NY; sister, Virginia Negron and her husband, Louis, of Orlando, FL; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Manuel was predeceased by his son, Deany, as well as many siblings.
Cremation was held privately. Burial of ashes will take place at Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor, NY on Saturday, July 11th at 12:00 PM.
